The nearest airport is Pantnagar Airport, about 250 km from Lohajung. From Pantnagar, you can take a cab or bus to reach Kathgodam, and then proceed to Lohajung by road.
The nearest railway station is Rishikesh Railway Station or Kathgodam Railway Station. Kathgodam is more preferred as it offers better connectivity to Lohajung, the base village of the Brahmatal Trek. You can take a taxi or shared jeep from Kathgodam to Lohajung (approx. 10–11 hours drive).
Lohajung is well connected by road from cities like Kathgodam, Haldwani, Almora, or Rishikesh. Regular buses and taxis are available from Kathgodam and Rishikesh, although private/shared cabs are more reliable for the last stretch.
